Emerson has expanded its offering of the Micro Motion 2400S Transmitters to its H-Series family of hygienic sensors. The integrally mounted transmitter, available with standard outputs or DeviceNet and Profibus
DP communication protocols, delivers accurate mass flow, density and
temperature measurements from one device.
The optional stainless steel housing on the 2400S transmitter is ideal for food and beverage applications where instruments are commonly subjected to regular caustic wash-downs. In addition, this transmitter deliver patented in-situ meter verification technology to the H-Series Coriolis line. This verification program tests not only all electronic components but also the structural integrity of the flow tubes to ensure that the meter remains calibrated within factory specification. The integral mount design of the transmitter provides local operator interface, simplifies installation and reduces costs
